Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

So behind on posting from the holidays! It was very busy and unfortunately, Will has most of the pictures on his phone. Here are a few that were taken at church prior to Christmas and from Christmas morning.

Christmas day itself was quiet, just our little family spending some quality time together and playing with new toys. The real fun came following Christmas when my family flew in for a visit. We decided to keep it a secret from the girls and boy were they surprised and so excited! We had a noisy houseful for a few days! New Years brought another quiet family evening and day. We forewent the traditional Southern New Years meal for tacos this year.... hopefully that wasn't a mistake!

Back to school and work now and Will is starting with a clean employment slate once again. We are so optimistic and excited to see what the cards hold for us this year. Here's to new beginnings, continued health and family! Cheers!

Footie Pajamas

This is why I hate fleece footie jammies.... Caroline gets so hot in them that she sleeps very restlessly. This is how I found her this morning.

7 Months

Can't believe my baby boy is 7 months old already. He is getting more vocal, loves food and the dog and is CRAWLING! Slowly, but he is officially mobile. Yikes!

Who's this cutie?

It's my nephew, Reece! Growing up too fast and so adorable. Miss him being SO far away in Albuquerque.

6 months

Weston turned 6 months (1/2 a year already!!!) earlier this month. His stats stand at 25.75 inches and 15 lbs 4 oz this week. That puts my little guy in the 15% for age... so we have another petite Hedrick thus far. He does however have a huge noggin!

At 6 months, Weston is eating baby food, still nursing 4-5 times a day, sitting on his own and getting on all fours. He smiles all the time and thinks his sisters are hilarious! He is growing up too fast for his mommy.

Happy 4th Birthday, Sweet Caroline

Celebrated Caroline's birthday with a small family party. She received lots of Merida (from the movie Brave) themed gifts. We are set for Halloween now with the full costume!

If you have not seen the movie, Merida is Disney's newest princess and is amazing. No girlie princess movie here... It is all about a rough and tumble girl that rides horses and shoots her bow and arrow. No "prince charming" either. Caroline LOVES Merida as I think she can relate to her better than the other princesses.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to MY rough and tumble girl! As challenging as you are at times, I so hope you keep your spirit and strong personality... as it will lead you to much success!
