Happy Labor Day

So we have had a busy, fun-filled weekend thus far. We started the weekend with a camping trip to the lake Friday night. We had a great time, despite not sleeping very well.... then again, I never really sleep well away from home. Taylor had fun making (actually eating) s'mores and sleeping in her pink sleeping bag! We had a pretty good crowd out Friday night for dinner. After returning home Saturday afternoon and taking a NAP, we went to PF Changs for Will's birthday. Happy Birthday Will! Today was the most beautiful day... makes me very hopeful for what Fall has to bring (hopefully VERY soon). We worked in the yard (finally), while Taylor played in her pool. This evening we went on our annual picnic to "Pops in the Park" with the NC Symphony. Lovely evening for it... comfortable temperature, no bugs, fried chicken, deviled eggs, and chocolate cake! What a tradition. Tomorrow Will is heading to Uwharrie National Forest to "play", while Taylor and I stay home (yeah!). Hope everyone else had a great weekend and lets all pray for Fall to hurry up and get here!

Oh yeah... the one dark picture with nothing but a light is actually Taylor with a glow stick around her neck! It was so dark when we were camping that I kept losing track of her, so we decided to "flag" her with a glow stick. Kind of funny, but it worked like a charm!
