It's Christmas Time!

I really do have a good excuse for not blogging these last few weeks.... lets just blame it on Campbell Law! So, we survived final exams in one piece and are now busy with Christmas. I do have pictures, but haven't had time to upload them yet. I will work on that soon!

I'll try to give the quick version of our lives for now. Taylor had her Christmas performance at school last week, which was very cute despite the fact that she did not sing. She was too busy messing with her halo... but at least she was cute! On Saturday my family arrived to celebrate Christmas with us... followed by parties that evening (well, Will and I only made it to one... we flaked out on the other and watched Christmas Vacation instead!). Sunday morning was a busy morning for the Hedrick clan... we declared it Hedrick day at church. Caroline was FINALLY dedicated, we read and lit the Advent candle, then Taylor performed in the children's musical. She sang this time because Daddy told her if she didn't, he would get on stage and sing for her. She was always a beat or so off, but loud enough for all of us to hear!

Today we are all going to Washington, DC for a few days. Instead of exchanging gifts this year, my family and I are spending time together in a fun place. We are staying in a theme hotel (http://www.gaylordnational.com ) with lots of Christmas stuff going on. Not to mention all the SNOW! We'll be back in time for Santa and more fun stuff!
