So, we had a nice weekend (which actually fell on Sunday and Monday for us this week). Sunday morning was lazy since the time change had us sleeping until 9:00am, then we made breakfast and read the paper. It was already quite warm when we got up, so we opened up the back door and let Taylor and Oliver play outside. Taylor LOVED it! She probably would have stayed out there all day had I not been afraid of her getting sunburned. When I finally brought her in to get dressed, I realized that letting her crawl around on the deck was not such a grand idea... she had wood splinters up and down her shins and in her feet. Luckily they were very superficial and all I had to do was scratch them out. The rest of Sunday we worked in the yard... finally got the sprinkler system up and running... We have this steep hill in our side yard that was not very well taken care of by the previous owners. Everything was dead and eroding, so we spent part of the day cleaning it up. My story is this though... I was trimming some of the lower branches on a holly bush (the only thing alive there) when I saw our neighbor out. I went and chatted with her for awhile, then headed back to trim the holly... however, when I walked past the bush I noticed eyes staring at me. First, I thought it was a bug of some sort, but on second look I noticed it was a snake lounging in the bush right over where I had previously been trimming! Well, I don't like snakes so I kind of flipped out thinking how easily that snake could have landed on my head!!!!Today started out with nasty thunder storms, then Taylor and I went to Monday Playgroup in our neighborhood. She had a blast! There were mostly boys, but she held her own quite well. The highlight of the day, however, was a trip to the plant nursery. We were scouting ferns and
shrubs, but I knew that this place had Radio Flyer wagons to haul your plants. I figured pulling Taylor around in the wagon would be just as entertaining as looking at plants. As you can see, Taylor was very excited about her wagon ride. The nursery grounds are beautiful with winding paths so we had a great time. We also ran into a girl we went to high school with...

I am terrified of snakes (and so is Rob) - he cringed when I told him your story. LOL.
The wagon is so cute. Looks like a lot of fun!
