We ventured to the State Fair this afternoon and had a great time! Ate too much fair food, checked out all the livestock and let Taylor ride the ponies twice! I think Taylor had a good time too. She had her first funnel cake today... liked the powdered sugar the best. The kid knows what sugar is... The second pony ride came from Will's dad, who met us there later this evening. FYI... Will just informed me that the man who used to run the pony ride gave him HIS pony as a child. Yes, that's right, Will had a pony when his was a kid!
Anyway, on another note.... after we left the fair we went to the art museum to see the Monet exhibit. They were having a special preview night for free and we were just down the street. To our disappointment, the exhibit was full and we couldn't get in... they said they had somewhere around 6,000 people come this evening. We have decided to get a babysitter one night and try again soon. So... that was our evening!
