Merry Christmas!

Not only have I been pretty slack about updating the blog lately, we've been pretty slack about even taking pictures! Christmas is such a great time of year, but we spend ALL this time preparing, then it's just OVER until next year. Always a bummer. Anyway... we had a lovely Christmas at home this year. My parents came up, so we got to celebrate Christmas with both families! Taylor really caught on to Christmas and Santa this year, although she told everyone that "the Mrs. Claus is coming to see me" since she is scared of "boy Santa". LOL We also had the honor of lighting the last candle of Advent on Christmas Eve. Very special and humorous as the whole church could hear Taylor saying that she wanted to light ALL the candles! For those of you who have spent any time around her, you know she is NOT the quietest of little girls. Taylor got lots of great gifts, including a kitchen, a new bathrobe, a jewelry box, a dollhouse, a little table and chairs... in other words TOO MUCH STUFF (thanks everyone!)! I've been trying to clean out her toy cabinets to make room. Can you tell she is the one and only on both sides of the family... spoiled, spoiled, spoiled she is!

I got my Christmas present yesterday... a new car! A white, diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee (but is it really a gift if I have to pay for it myself... hmmmm..... that is the question?) and Will got his present today... a big, flat screen TV. He is very excited and it so happened that as soon he and his brothers got the cable hooked up, Star Wars was just starting! So they are all downstairs watching Star Wars for the umpteenth time on his new TV. So that has been our Christmas in a nut shell! We are hoping to have a nice, quiet New Years tomorrow as we reflect on all our blessings this year and look forward to what the new year has in store for us! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
